The latter says, "My own father-Jacob Green-wrote a pamphlet, entitled, as well as I can remember, 'Observations on the present controversy between Great Britain and her American colonies'." "The plan of an American compact, with Great Britain. First published at New York": p. 33-40. These pages printed on gray paper. Another issue, bearing the same imprint, has slightly different punctuation on the t.-p., and "The plan of an American compact ... " (p. 33-40) is printed on white paper. Also published in New York, 1776.
